Are you tired of worrying about data breaches in your JIRA software? DoControl has got you covered! Our solution provides comprehensive data access security, ensuring the protection of sensitive business-critical data and files in JIRA.
With DoControl, you can gain full visibility and control over the data in JIRA. Our solution integrates with JIRA to secure all shared data, both for internal employees and external collaborators. Fine-grain data access controls prevent data overexposure and exfiltration, and automatically remediate insider threats.
Establish automated security workflows for high-risk JIRA users and groups, with the added granularity that JIRA lacks. Define policies based on specific users, departments, or other relevant parameters. With DoControl, you can delete an entire issue and its sub-entities, such as comments, attachments, and descriptions. Automated notifications can be triggered for policy violations or PII detections, enabling a risk-based approach to securing data within JIRA.
The benefits of using DoControl with JIRA are numerous. For instance, you’ll be able to gather insights and data from users' interactions in near real-time from events that take place in JIRA projects. Gain full visibility into JIRA project-specific issues and their sub-entities, such as comments, descriptions, and attachments. Next, you can establish secure workflows that are future-proofed to mitigate the risk of data overexposure and exfiltration. Security teams can entrally enforce consistent data access controls throughout JIRA, and all other critical SaaS applications.
Extending Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to SaaS is a pain point for most Security teams. DoControl provides the ability to classify data, and scan files in near-real time (i.e. in cache) to prevent sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), and Payment Card Industry (PCI) information data from accidentally (or intentionally) falling into the wrong hands. The solution can address limitless security policy violations or PII within JIRA, as the platform is completely-event driven by all SaaS activity within the application. For example: If a JIRA user in your organization adds PII in the issue description or in a comment, your security team can receive a notification in near real-time and take appropriate action.
With DoControl, you can define enforcement actions for policy violations and access our rich catalog of playbooks for creating specific enforcement actions. Integrating DoControl with JIRA is a breeze and requires only a basic plan and the appropriate permissions.
